The sound boost unit is a speaker with a built in microphone that increases the audible range of the lifeline vi+ in the home, making it easier for the residents to communicate directly with the operators in the monitoring centre. The lifeline hub and the sound boost units can be placed in different rooms such as the hall, lounge, or bedroom providing reassurance that during an activation the resident is closer to the microphone and speaker.
